The AL500 Power Wheelchair Lift is a durable lift capable of supporting up to 350 lbs of weight.  It is one of the more popular due to its durability, features, and functionality.  Anther reason this lift is popular is because it is compatible with a wide range of vehicles and wide range of power chairs, so you can don't have an excuse to take your power chair with you. 

You also do not need to make any modifications to your power chair when using the AL500.  It works just fine with Class II and Class III hitches and comes standard with four self-tensioning, quick release straps, so you can secure your power char in place.   

A TRULY GREAT LIFT:

This is versatile as it can accommodate wheelchairs of just about any size.  The large oversized deck on this lift allows the carrier to be able to carry many different types of power wheelchairs.  Operation is super simple and can be operated with its one switch operations.  There is also a manual crank, which provides backup in case the power source fails. 

It is also highly adaptable and firmly secures your power wheelchair for easy transport.   The large aluminum deck folds up against the back of your vehicle when not in use making it easy to get your vehicle in your garage.   When the deck is unloaded and in the folded position, the lift extends just 12" behind the bumper.  The Swing-Away option provides easy access to the trunk or lift gate of any vehicle that can support a Class III hitch.  The swing away option will add just 2” of length behind the lift is folded up.

VERY SECURE LIFT:

Using automatic retractors this lift can secure virtually any power chair.  The retractors can be attached to your chair by two methods.  One method uses a spreader bar that slides between the seat and seat post, which has provisions for the retractors.  If there is no seat post, the other method uses metal loops that attach to the frame of the chair.  Both methods add only a few ounces of weight to the chair and have been extensively tested to ensure complete security.  They can be removed without damaging a chair.

HARMAR VEHICLE LIFT WARRANTY

Harmar Mobility warrants its lift products against defects in material, mechanical and electrical components (parts), excluding labor cost, batteries, paint and covers, for a period of three (3) years from date of retail purchase, provided that the products have been installed, maintained and operated properly. This warranty does not cover defects in vehicles on which Harmar products are installed or defects in Harmar products caused by defects in any part of the vehicle upon which the product is installed. This warranty does not cover maintenance or adjustments. Harmar will not be charged for labor, consequential damage or repair expenses. Harmar will not, under any circumstances, be liable for the loss of the use of its products or loss of time. This warranty becomes null and void if the product has been lost, damaged by accident, over-stressed, misused and/ or neglected, or if the product has been modified in any way. Defective parts must be returned, prepaid, to Harmar at the address listed above, for inspection prior to credit, repair or replacement, at Harmar’s option. Harmar’s sole obligation and the exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to such credit, repair or replacement.
